Dr. Mara comes to us from Pfafftown, NC. Her journey into chiropractic began with her own struggle—12 concussions in four years left her battling extreme migraines from post-concussion syndrome. A Division II swimmer, she relied on a gallon-sized bag of medications and biweekly steroid injections just to function. After years of feeling physically and emotionally disconnected due to medication, she transferred to a Division III school, where she took a front desk job at a chiropractic office. Within three months of starting care, she was off all medications and had found her true calling. Graduating Summa Cum Laude with Research Honors from Life Chiropractic College West in 2022, Dr. Mara’s passion expanded into pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic.

She realized she didn’t just want to help athletes with concussions—she wanted to support families like hers, who felt lost and overwhelmed watching loved ones suffer. Now, she empowers others with knowledge and alternative paths to healing beyond traditional medicine.

Dr. Mara is Webster Certified, a birth and labor doula, and trained in Craniosacral Therapy, Palate Assessment, Spinning Babies, and Dynamic Body Balancing. She is currently pursuing her Perinatal Certification with the ICPA to further serve families. Her mission: to foster hope and healing, guiding patients toward a future where they feel empowered, connected, and truly well.

Outside the office, you can find her at a coffee shop working on her latest passion project, diving into chiropractic research, reading, at the gym, or spending time with her cats, Fiona (aka FeeFiFoFumers or Feefee) and Oliver (aka Little Monster or OliPop).
